Mary Delle, Thanks for the tour. I see we like the same kind of roses. I like the single and old fashions but gave up growing them years ago, too much work.
I don't have any old-fashioned roses. Yours are beautiful! Black spot is the reason I hesitate get more roses in my garden. I should apologize, I called you Mary in my last post. Is it OK or is it like "Taty" without "ana" for me?
A perfect choice for Wordless Wednesday. Words could not have done these beauties justice. I think I would love to be in your garden right surrounded by those wonderful roses. Simply terrific. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
(Presuming you celebrate said holiday. Otherwise just Happy Thursday and call it a day.) heheh
I love the photo with the hand and the pink fading to white roses. It was so nice to see so many rose photos in one place. I can't wait for my designer purple rose to start blooming this year.

When I look at these beautiful roses, I wonder why I do not grow more in my garden.

I just love, LOVE, roses. I loved growing them in California and now in Arizona. Thank you for such beautiful photos.
I love roses. I prefer those that have lovely fragrance to those ones that are just pretty to see and without any fragrance.
Gorgeous photos. I don't have any roses in my garden, but I'd like to get a yellow one which will grow in a container.

I wonder if you collect these petals to make rose tea, or pressed petaled cards or potpourri.
It would be lovely as the beauty extend more than just the blooming time.
Lovely roses Marydelle... your photos are beautiful too.
I love the last two photos and the last two roses. My goodness - how many petals in that first rose!!!
