First a huge thank you to two wonderful bloggers who have given me the best blog award.
I received it from Noelle at Plants Tips and Guidelines for the Desert Garden and from The Violet Fern. Am I lucky or what. I am a great fan of both blogs. Do go and visit them. I love so many blogs that I will defer to others to list the best blogs. They've done such a good job.
Now for the blue in the garden. I have a variety of flowers and other garden structures in the garden that are blue. I'll start with the plants first.

Plumbago ceratostigma
Some of favorites are blue gray, like the succulents.

Now into the things non-plant. Lots of blue pots, one of which if pictured below.

In general, I love blue, so have to hold myself back so that I do not paint all the wicker chairs blue. I'm due to repaint some of my flower pots blue. I really enjoy blue as an accent and flower in my garden.

Blue is truly my favorite color, but I find I don't have too much of it in the garden. I do love your Blue Glory Bower, it looks like a bouquet of butterflies!

I love the blues you have! I forgot about forget me nots, they are such a sweet little flower to see in Spring.
I adore blue in the garden and you have some fantastic blues there! You also have my favorite garden shade of blue. Since my whole gardening experience is brand new I have not gotten to the place of adding in the non plant stuff too much. I think I could easily go overboard and paint anything not moving with that blue though.

Blue in the garden makes me instantly, instantly happy, Mary Delle. We seem to share the same love of that deep cobalt blue for accents. It's a lovely soothing colour, whether on flowers or pots or fences.

I love that sedum! And I have never seen blue glory bower before - it is beautiful and, sadly not hardy here. Your blue fence is spectacular! You have a beautiful garden.
Mary Delle, I do not know how I missed this post. It should have shown up in My Faved Blogs, all the other ones have.
I too love blue as an accent in the garden. I have used it in every garden I have made, and am using it at Kilbourne Grove as well. It is hard to restrain yourself though, the paint can is mighty tempting, I am toying with the idea of staining the wooden boards in the kitchen garden, ala Sarah Raven.
I love your blues - and I loved that song blue on blue - if it's the same one I'm thinking of... blue on blue, heartache on heartache...
