Garden Bloggers Bloom Day

Bird of Paradise
The Bird of Paradise are really blooming now. Two blooms have opened and I have three more. It's a happy plant this year.  They've come back into bloom since the heat wave is over.

Passion Flower
Also the Passion Flower is the hummingbird's best friend with lots of blooms, as well the ants in the photo.

Firecracker Sage

Autumn Sage
The Autumn Sage and the Firecracker Sage started blooming in the heat and are gathering for a profusion of blooms.

Echinacea

Orange Zinnia Profusion Mix
Wildflower "Jupiter's Beard"
My garden doesn't have a plethora of blooms. However, it does have some little gems, which I share with you. Enjoy!

Funny how you are growing some of the same plants I grow here in CT but also so many other exotic plants. I can't even imagine having a garden where birds of paradise grow.

Happy Bloom Day!

I like sages, they are such good bloomers and very reliable. Nice images, Mary!

I once stayed for a week at a farm that grew Bird of Paradise to sell as cut flowers. Whole fields of it. I always like to see it again.

You've got some very vibrant colors blooming, I love it! I love Jupiter's Beard, it's been blooming for months now and still isn't slowing down.

I'd give anything to be able to grow Birds of Paradise in my garden. We are starting to rake leaves here in Southern Ontario.
Thanks for visiting my little blog project.

And they are precious! I am very fond of Jupiter's Beard but mine bloomed a long time ago. We're almost in to the pansy stage now. Your blooms are very pretty.

How exotic and fun to have Bird of Paradise blooming Mary... and it must be a competition for beauty when hummingbirds visit your passion flower... to have both at the same time! Gorgeous shot of your stunner bloom. I love your delicate sage too. Yes! You have lovely gems!

I deleted that stupid comment I left.
Your blooms are so pretty and look great against your black background on your blog.
Hope you are well!

I have some similar salvias and the Jupiter's Beard, but it's too cold here for your other lovelies.

I enjoyed reading what you said about your property. It sounds like the opposite of mine, where almost everything is visible from the street. We have little privacy here.

Thanks for your comment on my GBBD post. It's nice to meet you!

I just love your magenta passiflora! Mine is white, and I love it too, but that color is great. Does yours try to take over your garden like mine?

Love the BOP. My Bird of Paradise has a brand new leaf. I hope it is a precourser to a blossom.

Hi Mary Delle! Thanks so much for visiting and commenting on my blog! I see we grow some of the same things. All but the Bird of Paradise. :-) That is one fantastic flower. I'm always in awe when I see one in bloom. But I have to go to Florida or our local botanical conservatory to see them.

So many pinks! I really love pink in the garden. I find it cheery and lively without being too bright, like yellow can be. I have tried to grow Jupiter beard three times now and haven't had any luck. And that firecracker salvia is so lovely.
